Jumpstart
Last night was Hayley's first night at Jumpstart Gymnastics. She did not want to participate at first, but did when they came down to work on the equipment right by the viewing area. She did so good - I'm so proud of her! Overall, she participated in about 45 to 50 minutes worth of the class and is excited to go back next week. Next week I'll have to remember to take my camera with me - her little pink leotard is so cute!

Oops!
So I said that I was going to update my blog regularly, but then life happened and I totally didn't!
Oops!
Well, Jacob is 4 1/2 months old now. Sometimes he sleeps through the night, but not on a regular basis. He was doing good, but then developed a cold. I am pretty sure he's getting teeth, so we'll see how that goes.
Hayley loves being a big sister and rarely has fits of jealously. She loves talking to him, hugging him, and trying to get him to smile at her. He definitely loves his big sister because he smiles at her a lot!!!

It's a Boy!!!
We went to the doctor last night and had the "big" sonogram. My mom & dad and Nick were able to come to the appointment, so it was exciting. We didn't have to wait long, which was suprising. The sonogram tech started mesuring everything and the baby measured 20 weeks, 5 days, which is one day ahead of schedule. The heart rate was 155 bpm, which is about the same as it has been from the beginning. Here are the sonogram pics:

Nick learned how to do the shots, so I no longer have to go to the office every week. Yea! My cervix looked fine, so I no longer have to get the internal sonogram. I'm back to the normal schedule of seeing the doctor every 4 weeks.
Now it's time to start thinking of names...on my drive to school I was looking at street signs and billboards, trying to find something I like. So far, it's a bust, but we have 20 or so weeks to think things through. Luckily we have a blue guest room, so no painting or moving for Hayley. She thinks we should name the baby Captain Big Guy - from the hockey games. It'll break her heart to know that there's no chance of that!!
